In our continued mission to support local charities, last week a group of Loeffler Construction & Consulting team members volunteered at Feed My Starving Children, a Christian non-profit organization whose mission is to feed children who are hungry in body and spirit. The Loeffler team assisted in packing 11,880 meals which will feed 33 children in Guatemala and Haiti for an entire year. As a steward of FMSC’s mission, Loeffler is humbled to have had this opportunity to play a small role in supporting children in need; to share in the good work Feed My Starving Children as an organization accomplishes each and every day.
Feed My Starving Children produces nutritious meals designed to restore malnourished children to full health. Volunteers hand-pack meals that are shipped to missions and humanitarian agencies located in 70 countries around the world. Each meal costs less than 25 cents to produce, and more than 90% of all donations directly support the food program. FMSC receives no government aid. All meals are packed by volunteers, who, along with donors, pay for 100% of FMSC meals. Click here to learn more about Feed My Starving Children and the ways you can support their mission.
