Architect:
Solution Blue, Inc.
Loeffler Role:
General Contractor
Project Spec Sheet:
The project consisted of removing the existing gatehouse and replacing it with a new 750 SF gatehouse to fit the widened entrance lanes. This provides additional customer service lanes on both sides of the gatehouse and an extra lane for members. It also gives access to high clearance vehicles. Card readers were installed at the gate for staff, faculty and members. Construction services also rebuilt the entrance road. This approach had been identified as an improvement to the key constraint of heavy traffic congestion at the main entrance and subsequent conflict with traffic on Highway 5. All work was done while maintaining traffic through the site area.
