As part of the 2021 Lakeville Park Bond Referendum, funding was approved to restore and expand the historic cabin at Ritter Farm Park. Over the course of a year, Loeffler staff collaborated
with consultants to meticulously design the building schematics and carefully select interior and exterior features. The project also included the demolition of an existing historic house, site restoration, and
trail restoration within the nearby Trailways. The transformed cabin will now serve as the Ed Mako Environmental Learning Center, providing a dedicated space for educational programs and expanded nature programming.
