This project involved the creation of a new Cultural Campus for the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community. The campus will consist of a Cultural Center and an Administrative building. Loeffler assisted with overall site planning and conceptual design pricing to allow the SMSC to select a projected outcome that suited their needs and project budget.
Loeffler utilized reputable subcontractors to price two separate buildings with different, monumental tipi structures. In addition to the Tipis the facility will have a tribal meeting area, a museum, and communal areas for tribal members. The SMCS will utilize the facility to store precious artifacts for future generations.
