Antlers Park Redevelopment

Overall Project Size:
20 Acre Site Redevelopment / 4,800 SF Park Pavilion building

Client:
City of Lakeville Parks & Recreation

Architect:
Tushie Montgomery Architects

Loeffler Role:
Construction Manager Advisor

Supported by a 2021 Park Bond Referendum, the Antler’s Park improvements included expanded parking lot areas to accommodate peak season traffic, a central pavilion building, updated modern restrooms, meeting rooms, an outdoor restaurant, a community fire pit, additional picnic shelters and shade structures, recreation amenities such as sand volleyball, a lawn area for outdoor games, a playground, and a hammocking area.

Additionally, the Lake Marion Regional Greenway Trailhead was added, providing walking and biking access to the city’s extensive trail system. Loeffler served as the CMa and oversaw preconstruction, trade contractor bidding, construction phase services, and closeout on both projects. We also worked closely with City Parks & Recreation staff to manage the master project budgets and schedules for each project. Upon joining the project, our team immediately engaged by providing pricing options and breakouts for the restaurant/food service area, which were utilized in the final design. Recognizing the importance of establishing turf at various construction phases, Loeffler diligently managed the process to ensure the successful opening of the park in the spring of 2024.
