Project Spec Sheet:
Modernization of The Maryland Apartments was part of the Aeon Minneapolis Portfolio Project (MP3) which serves to provide efficiency apartments at an affordable price. Originally opened as the Hotel Maryland and one of the longest standing buildings in the Loring Park Neighborhood of Minneapolis, the building was converted to an apartment complex in 1982.
As the owner’s representative for this project, Loeffler helped keep the project on schedule and aided Aeon in managing the contingency budget to maximize the upgrades within the allocated funding. Both interior and exterior renovations were completed which included upgrades to the roof, new windows, heating systems, plumbing, and community rooms.
Loeffler served as the owner’s representative for the upgrades of all 10 properties within the MP3 project.
