Client:
Minnesota Valley Transit Authority

Loeffler Role:
Owner’s Representative

Loeffler served as the Owner’s Representative for the initial phase of the MVTA Burnsville Bus Garage Modernization project, which received funding from the Metropolitan Council. This project focused on the modernization of the existing MVTA bus garage facility and aimed to enhance its bus capacity, accommodating approximately 100 buses. The project’s scope of work included various improvements, such as wall restorations, door and window replacements, the construction of a bus wash building, extensive MEP upgrades, and the installation of security fencing.

As the Owner’s Representative for this project, our responsibilities included attending weekly meetings as an advocate for the client, coordinating permits, and providing Value Engineering. We also monitored construction costs and schedules, and oversaw on-site supervision. Our role extended to technical review, change order advice, punchlist progress, and post-occupancy walk-throughs.
