Lakeville Turf Facilities (1231 KB)

This project included the replacement of the existing stadium turf at Lakeville North High School as well as the addition of two new dome-ready practice fields at both North and South High School.

The replacement at Lakeville North included removing the existing turf, prepping and replacing sub grade, and installation of the new synthetic turf. In order to minimize scheduling impacts on student athletes this project part of the project was fast tracked to completion in just two weeks.

Both Lakeville High Schools were experiencing a growing need for additional practice space. To combat this need, the new practice fields were designed to suit various sports including football, soccer, and lacrosse. Both fields were also designed and built with the infrastructure to be “dome-ready” to meet the school districts long-term goal of seasonally covering the fields during the colder months.
