The Red Lake Nation College-Minneapolis site is a cutting-edge educational institution, featuring training spaces, classrooms, student services, office space, and a rooftop student area. Standing as the first Tribal College within an urban center, the new facility repurposes three 100-year-old buildings. The existing central building was demolished, now serving as the entryway, and includes various open student areas for collaboration and group learning.

This location was chosen as Red Lake Nation College’s second site because there are nearly 8,000 Red Lake tribal members in Minneapolis and over 50,000 Indigenous people living in the Twin Cities metro area. Additionally, the site offers strong connections to transit and access to multi-modal transportation corridors. The project stands as an exciting achievement for the Tribe and the local community!
