Colin Bigalke
Construction Executive
Colin started working in construction in 1987 when he worked his way through college as a laborer and carpenter for commercial concrete and single family residential contractors. His professional career started as a project engineer with promotions along the way to Superintendent, Project Manager, and Estimator. He has successfully handled roles estimating and managing self-performed demolition, concrete, masonry, and carpentry work as well as working as a full-time estimator for multifamily and mixed use projects. He has a broad range of experience as a Project Manager and Senior Project Manager successfully completing new construction and tenant improvements at churches, K-12 schools, restaurants, professional service buildings, data centers, big box retail, and multi-family housing projects with the occasional once in a lifetime opportunity like a coal storage building thrown in . Historic renovations, insurance claim projects, and sustainability also show up on the resume of projects delivered via hard bid, negotiation, best value, design build, design assist, and as an owner/developer/builder.
With completed projects from Minneapolis to San Antonio and from Milwaukee to Seattle, Colin is willing to go almost anywhere and build almost anything. Because the skill sets for Estimators and Project Managers work hand in hand, this breadth of experience, and the subsequent refining of both skill sets, manifests as accurate and detailed cost estimates that can be relied upon by Owners and Architects for a wide range of projects.
When he isn’t working, he enjoys downhill skiing, traveling, and grilling!
