The project included a substantial renovation of 10 affordable housing projects in the Elliott Park and Loring Park neighborhoods of downtown Minneapolis. As part of the project, 566 existing occupied units were rehabbed as well as 16 new units. Major exterior restoration and roofing also took place on these historical buildings. Loeffler’s role as owner’s representative kept the project moving, and helped Aeon manage the contingency budget to maximize the final upgrades of each building as the $20 million in funding allowed.
